A Bond That Lives On: Shane & Daulton’s Story

At The Wander Club, we believe that travel isn’t just about the places you go. It’s about the people you go with, the moments you share, and the memories that continue to matter long after the journey ends.

For Shane and his son Daulton, travel was a way to celebrate life, family, and a friendship that went far beyond father and son.

They were able to visit stadiums in Colorado, Minnesota, and Kansas City together, with many more on their list. Sadly, that journey was cut short when Shane passed away at just 52 due to complications from a heart transplant. His loss left a deep space in their family. Shane wasn’t just a dad. He was the rock, the constant, the one everyone leaned on.

Wanting to honor that bond and keep those memories alive, Tonia ordered Wander Club tokens for her son Daulton. Each token represents not just a stadium, but a chapter of time spent together. A reminder of a father and son who chose connection, tradition, and love whenever they could.

For Daulton, now a college baseball coach, those tokens hold even more meaning. They carry the story of where he’s been, who he shared it with, and the legacy his dad left behind.

Shane and Daulton’s story reminds us that travel isn’t always about how far you go. Sometimes it’s about holding onto the moments that shaped you, honoring the people who walked beside you, and finding comfort in the memories that never fade.

Here’s to Shane and Daulton, and to every family who carries love forward through shared journeys, treasured traditions, and memories you can hold close.
