Collecting Memories: Teresa’s Story
At The Wander Club, our mission is to help people keep their travel memories alive! Each engraved token represents a place you’ve been (or dream of going), and together, they tell the story of your adventures — stories like Teresa’s, a heartfelt reminder that even after loss, life still has chapters waiting to be written.
In 2022, Teresa’s world changed forever. Within just 30 days, she lost both her mom and her husband. In the midst of grief, she made a quiet but powerful decision: to honor their memory by seeing the world they never got to.
“As part of my ‘reinventing’ myself and honoring them, I’m traveling. I’m going to travel as much as I can. Someday it will be nice to look back at the tokens that represent everywhere I’ve been.”
Each journey became more than a destination. It became a step toward healing. Traveling helped Teresa rediscover herself, one adventure at a time.
“Traveling has increased my confidence and certainly my ability to roll with the punches!”
Her collection of tokens tells that story beautifully. From Slovenia’s serene lakes to Croatia’s seaside towns, from the misty hills of Scotland to the vibrant streets of the Netherlands, every token holds a piece of her courage and curiosity.
Looking ahead, Teresa’s adventures are far from over.
“Next year is Tuscany and Thailand,. In Thailand, I plan to visit an elephant rescue that I follow.”
Each token on Teresa’s chain tells a story of love remembered, confidence restored, and a heart open to what’s next. Her journey reminds us that travel isn’t just about the places we visit — it’s about the person we become along the way.
