More Than 30 Ballparks

Some people plan trips around beaches, landmarks, or bucket-list cities.

For Lizzie and her partner, the question is a little different: Where are the Blue Jays or Twins playing next?

Baseball has always been a big part of their lives. Lizzie is a longtime Toronto Blue Jays fan, while her partner became a dedicated Minnesota Twins supporter after spending time working in Minnesota. There’s almost always a game playing somewhere in their home in the UK, and when their teams face each other, things can get a little competitive.

The 2023 Wild Card Series? Let’s just say it made things interesting.

But their shared love of baseball has grown into something much bigger.

Together, they’ve set themselves a challenge: visit all 30 Major League ballparks while either the Blue Jays or Twins are playing there.

It isn’t always easy. Their travels have to fit around their own softball season back home in the UK. But figuring it all out has become part of the adventure.

And somewhere along the way, they realized the ballparks were only part of the story.

Every trip brings a new city, another road trip, unfamiliar streets, and places they may never have discovered otherwise. Some of their favorite memories haven’t happened beneath stadium lights at all. They’ve happened on the road between games.

That’s what Lizzie sees when she looks at their Wander Club collection.

Each token brings back more than a stadium. It holds the anticipation of planning, the excitement of arriving somewhere new, and the memory of experiencing it together.

Instead of those moments getting lost among thousands of photos, their collection gives them a place to live.

And perhaps the best part is that it isn’t finished.

Every new token brings up the same exciting question: Where are we going next?
