For Abbey, that’s exactly what her travels have done.

“Traveling is about collecting memories, not a suitcase full of souvenirs,” Abbey says. 

This simple yet profound belief has shaped her travels and how she experiences the world. She doesn’t just visit places; she immerses herself in their stories, their people, and their cultures. 

Abbey’s story begins with a backpacking trip to the Netherlands, France, and Belgium for her honeymoon. 

“It showed me how vast the world and different cultures are,” Abbey shares. This trip sparked something in her: a deep desire to keep learning, growing, and experiencing the world through new lenses. 

Travel, for Abbey, is not just about checking off destinations. It’s about growth, learning, and, most importantly, sharing experiences with others. 

She always carries her Wander Club keychain in her backpack as a reminder of where she’s been and the memories she’s made. 

“A favorite story of mine was when we were on an airport shuttle bus, and a couple by us asked about the tokens on my bag. It led to us chatting the whole ride, sharing favorite travel locations and stories,” Abbey recalls. 

One of the stories they shared inspired Abbey and her husband to travel to that exact location a year later. This serendipitous moment is just one of the many ways Abbey’s travels have connected her with others and deepened her appreciation for the world.

Abbey’s first international trip was a study abroad program in Italy. 

“Before leaving, I was nervous as it was my first time ever traveling outside the country and without my family,” she admits. 

But Italy changed everything. 

“With every stop we made in Italy, it fueled my love for travel and exploring cultures outside my own.”

The experience opened her eyes to the world beyond her own, igniting a passion for travel that would stay with her forever. 

Since then, Abbey’s husband has been her travel companion, joining her on every adventure and learning alongside her.

Abbey’s journey is a beautiful testament to the power of travel to transform and shape us. “It represents growth, learning, and most of all sharing,” she says. 

Abbey’s Wander Club collection is not just a set of tokens. It’s a timeline of memories. Each token represents more than just a location. It holds the story of her journey, the lessons she’s learned, and the people she’s met. 

As she continues to explore new destinations, she’s not just collecting tokens; she’s collecting memories that will stay with her forever.
