Wanderer of the Week: Cindi C.

Finding Home in the Journey

Sometimes, the places we return to aren't just destinations. They're pieces of ourselves we've been hoping to find again.

Growing up in a military family, Cindi Clarke moved often. In fact, she's packed up and started over 40 times throughout her life. While those moves filled her childhood with new places, it's the adventures she's chosen as an adult that now tell the story she's wants to remember.

One journey, in particular, changed everything.

After losing her father, Cindi traveled back to Germany for the first time since childhood. Standing in Cologne before the start of a Rhine River Christmas Markets cruise, she wasn't just visiting a country. She was reconnecting with treasured memories and finding comfort in a place that once felt like home.

Since then, her travels have taken her from kayaking beside Alaska's Grewingk Glacier to wandering the Christmas markets of Austria, exploring Scotland, Mexico, the Bahamas, and building memories across countless U.S. states.

Every destination has found its place on her Wander Club collection.

But what Cindi loves most isn't just remembering where she's been.

"I love having my Wander 'conversation starters' on my travel bags to discuss with other wanderers along the way!"

Her collection has become more than a keepsake. It's an invitation to connect, swap stories, and celebrate the adventures that shape us.

Cindi, thank you for reminding us that every journey leaves something behind and gives us something to carry forward. Whether you're revisiting childhood memories or discovering somewhere new, every token holds a story worth sharing.

What story does your collection tell?
